Warsaw Cultural Education Center is an extra scholar education unit of the local self-government which was founded in 1990. It acts for the benefit of the cultural education of children, young people and teachers. We operate most effectively in our local environment with active support of the educational units from which our pupils originate.
We also enjoy favorable assistance on the part of many institutions and organizations. Our main goals are to foster the pupils' creative activities and to educate and support the teachers in the field of artistic education. We have our own operation scheme concept which was developed by the professional, dynamic and effective personnel consisting of artists-educators. The scheme is designed to fit the level and skills of the participants, to enhance their development and to fulfill their needs. We are open to all artistic and self-government initiatives taken by Warsaw school students.
Our activities include, among others, organizing events, classes, artistic, therapeutic and creative workshops, as well as contests, exhibitions, concerts and shows. We do artistic and educational projects proposed by the teachers, students and by the self-government entities. We cooperate with educational units, cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations in doing large projects as well as organizing artistic and educational events which are of importance to the city of Warsaw. We also take pride in the exceptional achievements of our participants.
